INSTRUCTOR: AMY CADY

TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

The AC Pilates Teacher Training Program* is a comprehensive hybrid training program that includes: Anatomy, Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel. I provide only private or semi-private coaching to provide detail to the trainee to enhance learning and teaching skills. In return, you will receive individualized attention, flexible scheduling and access to me via phone, email and Zoom appointments during the duration of your training. In addition to learning the work, you will also learn how to teach multiple populations with skill and confidence. Basic knowledge of coursework is required. Core Town Pilates will be used for in person modules, practice, observation and training when available.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I am passionate about helping students seek healthier lives and promoting their wellness through their teachings. I strive to achieve the highest quality of Pilates by using the Balanced Body curriculum and equipment for our coursework and by the integrity of our own work through continuing education and study. I help our teachers get prepared for the rigors of training and teaching. When the coursework is completed, students will graduate, ready for teaching in studio, community and global settings. An AC Pilates Teacher Training certificate of completion will be given on completion of the course.

“Amy Cady’s Pilates Teacher Training is a well-rounded, challenging, and supportive program that fully prepares you to become a Pilates instructor. From the fundamentals (anatomy, client assessment), through the range of equipment and exercises, into special populations and “real world” experiences (structuring a routine, auditioning for a job, or building your business idea), Amy’s course provides in-depth knowledge, discussion, explanation, practical learning, and support. I am very proud to have Amy as my mentor.”
– Laurel, La Habra

“I am motivated and inspired by Amy Cady and her Pilates Teacher Training program. I am grateful for Amy Cady’s instruction and intuitiveness with all aspects of teaching. I have more confidence and knowledge because of her training. When the class collectively has a question or two during group session time, I find much more insight in how to care and instruct individuals and groups!  Thank you for your leadership and instruction.”
-Regina, Fullerton
